Senior Managed Care Specialist (Provider Enrollment)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; minimum 2 days per week onsite

Salary: $29.00–$50.50 per hour

What you will do

• Manage provider enrollment and credentialing for hospital-employed and contracted physicians across contracted insurance programs, including state Medicaid programs.
• Execute managed care activities involving provider enrollment, credentialing, claims, and payer issues.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify information and resolve issues.
• Support payer communications, publications, guidelines, and related documentation.
• Manage denials related to contractual, enrollment, and credentialing issues while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance and perform additional duties aligned with department goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 4 years of experience in a healthcare, academic, or research setting.
• Experience in a healthcare office environment with an understanding of managed care contracts and reimbursement models.
• Prior provider enrollment experience is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated strong performance in a previous role.
• Ability to work onsite at least 2 days per week in Memphis, Tennessee.

• Experience with EPIC and CredentialStream.
