Senior Consultant - Implementation (Equity) (Equity Compensation and Financial Reconciliation): Reconciling equity compensation financial reporting and participant-level equity data as customers migrate to the NextGen platform with an accent on ASC 718, ASC 260, tax, disclosures, and grant lifecycle accuracy. Focus on analyzing discrepancies, validating migrated data, documenting root causes, and coordinating complex reconciliation workstreams with customer stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Location: USA - Remote; occasional travel to customer sites may be required.
Salary: $88,000–$111,000 USD annual base salary; additional bonus eligibility may apply.

What you will do
- Reconcile ASC 718 stock compensation expense, corporate and deferred tax, disclosures, and ASC 260 diluted EPS between legacy results and the NextGen platform.
- Reconcile participant- and grant-level equity data, including grants, vesting, exercises, releases, cancellations, forfeitures, balances, and transaction history.
- Validate ESPP, participant demographic, tax, and account data migrated between systems.
- Build comparison reports, analyze discrepancies, identify root causes, and document resolutions and mapping logic.
- Coordinate with data loading, product, administrative reconciliation, and financial reconciliation teams to validate fixes and maintain accurate deliverables.
- Serve as a senior customer contact, lead reconciliation discussions, meet SLAs, and mentor junior contributors.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of financial accounting experience focused on equity compensation management and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of ASC 718, ASC 260 diluted EPS, corporate tax, disclosures, year-end tax reporting, W-2 inserts, and Forms 3921 and 3922.
- Experience with participant-level equity reconciliation, data migration, mapping, and validation across financial and equity administration systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with equity management and financial accounting systems.
- Experience with SQL or database querying, report generation, data analysis, automation, documentation, and customer communication.
