Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; hybrid workplace with three days onsite. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
Salary: $86,500–$126,800 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

is a global marine company, and Mercury Marine manufactures and distributes marine propulsion systems, engines, services, and parts for recreational, commercial, and government applications.
What you will do
- Convey service needs and field information to product, engineering, and other internal teams.
- Support new product and model introductions, field-failure analysis, and responses to dealer, OEM, customer, and field-service questions.
- Develop service guidelines, service bulletins, memos, presentations, training materials, and technical content.
- Review operator, installation, and service manuals and support parts catalogs, accessories, and service kits.
- Monitor current product requests and known issues, contribute to warranty reduction, and communicate product fixes to the field.
- Support Mercury University through video and curriculum development and train technical account managers, product application engineers, and service personnel.
Requirements
- Thorough knowledge of Outboard and MerCruiser products, four-stroke engines, engine control systems, Mercury Helm Control systems, and Mercury diagnostic platforms.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of two-stroke and diesel engines, emissions-control devices, and marine electrical-system layout and integration.
- Effective verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
- Ability to handle short-notice assignments and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Associate degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience, plus at least three years of marine engine experience.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of marine engine experience.
- Previous Lean Six Sigma or Design Thinking experience.
