Indirect Buyer (Manufacturing)

Location: Easton, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite position. Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without employer-sponsored immigration support.

What you will do

• Manage suppliers for indirect materials and services, including CapEx, MRO, R&D, sample parts, and corporate services.
• Issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and coordinate purchasing for engineering labs, manufacturing facilities, and offices.
• Support supplier and part approval processes, production samples, investment tooling, subcontractors, and component planning.
• Resolve quality, delivery, quantity, invoicing, and logistics issues while expediting suppliers when necessary.
• Prepare RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs; evaluate supplier responses and make award recommendations using total cost of ownership.
• Manage the purchasing card program and lead supplier performance, cost reduction, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, planning, sourcing, or supply chain.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong communication, analytical problem-solving, supplier-management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel overnight occasionally.
• Current full-time work authorization in the United States without employer-sponsored immigration support is required.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with industrial drawings and schematics.
• Production planning experience.
• Understanding of Kanban replenishment.
