Electrical Designer II (CAD)

Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin, United States. Work onsite Monday through Thursday; Fridays offer flexibility to choose the work location based on business needs. Travel to other locations may be required.

Annual base salary range: $49,400–$69,755 USD. Compensation type: hourly.

What you will do

• Design and document electrical systems using computer-aided design and product lifecycle management systems.
• Develop schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and supporting documentation.
• Document parts and bills of materials for product development and manufacturing support.
• Lead small segments of larger projects, identify potential design problems, and correct errors.
• Apply design and drafting standards while maintaining proficiency in CAD and related applications.
• Support products or train personnel at other locations when required.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Design, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Experience with SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer, CAD, or AutoCAD.
• Ability to produce accurate, quality-focused electrical designs and documentation.
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Thursday in La Crosse, Wisconsin, with a flexible work location on Fridays.
