Analyst, Revenue Cycle (Healthcare): Managing and analyzing hospital accounts receivable populations to accelerate cash collection, reduce aging, and improve revenue cycle performance with an accent on payer trends, denial workflows, and operational optimization. Focus on building AR dashboards, identifying root causes, quantifying financial impact, and measuring automation-driven improvements.

Location: Remote nationwide within the United States. Applicants must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Salary: $52,100–$78,150 per year, depending on skills and experience.

What you will do

  • Analyze and oversee assigned accounts receivable populations, including payer follow-up, denials, aged balances, and high-risk inventory.
  • Identify root causes of AR stagnation and prioritize work queues based on financial risk, aging, and payer behavior.
  • Develop, maintain, and interpret dashboards and reports covering aging, payer groups, financial classes, and denial categories.
  • Quantify the financial impact of AR issues and present data-driven recommendations to leadership and clients.
  • Partner with operations, automation, Epic, denial prevention, audit and appeals, and revenue integrity teams.
  • Support workflow redesign, automation deployment, SOP development, and measurement of cash acceleration and productivity gains.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable or revenue cycle analytics.
  • Strong understanding of AR aging, denial workflows, and reimbursement concepts.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, analytics, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with hospital or health-system AR portfolios.
  • Familiarity with Epic or AR automation platforms.
  • Experience presenting insights to executive leadership.
