Reimbursement Analyst I (Healthcare)

Location: Remote anywhere within the continental United States, excluding California, New York, Alaska, and Hawaii

Base pay: $63,300–$114,300 annually

What you will do

• Develop reports using internal and external databases and common programming languages.
• Create pricing models for network negotiations and fee schedule updates used in claims adjudication.
• Implement pricing information in the PREMIER Pricer system.
• Validate and research report results using operational systems and reporting databases.
• Present reports to internal and external customers and respond to follow-up questions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Computer Science with 3 years of experience in data analysis and reimbursement, or 7 years of relevant experience including college coursework.
• Experience with reimbursement methods and financial modeling.
• Healthcare data experience and knowledge of Medicare pricing methodologies, including RBRVS, DRG, and ASC.
• Analytical, communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• PC proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable spreadsheet and word-processing software.

Nice to have

• Technical background in BASIC programming languages.
• At least 1 year of experience with FACETS or other reimbursement systems.
• Experience with provider contracts, fee schedules, rate sheets, or contract lifecycle support.
• Healthcare claims adjudication experience.
