What you will do
- Lead legal matters across the business.
- Advise on commercial contracts and generalist legal issues.
- Manage and support a junior lawyer.
- Coordinate with external legal advisers when necessary.
- Provide legal support as the UK platform scales and develops its offering.
Requirements
- 5+ years of post-qualification experience.
- Qualified lawyer in England and Wales.
- Strong generalist legal background with commercial contracts experience.
- Ability to work autonomously and build effective relationships.
Nice to have
- In-house experience at a challenger bank, retail lending, SME lending, or payments institution.
- Exposure to executive committee and board matters.
