Sr. Mould Designer

Location: Singapore. Hybrid work policy with an average of 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

• Support standardization of new equipment and continuous improvement of existing equipment.
• Provide technical guidance for mould development, design, and construction in collaboration with suppliers as project technical lead.
• Represent the Mould Design Execution team in Quality Up Front and High Risk Reorders initiatives.
• Develop and maintain digital tools, including tools for improving tolerance calculations.
• Apply engineering methods to connector and element development.
• Investigate technical and scientific parameters, evaluate materials and equipment, and support process improvement and best-practice implementation.

Requirements

• Relevant education in mould or mechanical design engineering.
• Strong expertise in mould design, moulding processes, and related technical principles.
• High proficiency in 3D CAD, including NX and Teamcenter.
• Ability to design moulds that meet tight tolerances and hirify.global quality standards.
• Ability to solve medium-complexity tasks with cross-functional stakeholders, manage multiple priorities, and work to deadlines.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and ensure construction projects are delivered on time, within cost, and according to standards.
