Software Engineer Intern (2027) - Austin, TX

Location: In-office in Austin, US, 3–5 days per week. Remote and part-time arrangements are not available. The internship requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week, typically Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Available terms: Winter/Spring 2027 (January–May) or Summer 2027 (May–September).

hirify.global operates a global network that protects and accelerates Internet applications, websites, APIs, and other online services.

What you will do

• Ship and deliver a software project over a 12–14 week internship with autonomy and mentor support.
• Build and run software handling large-scale Internet traffic across hirify.global’s network.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering and other teams.
• Present the completed project to the company at the end of the internship.
• Participate in professional development, networking, and learning opportunities with engineers and leadership.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree or program in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Critical thinking, curiosity, empathy, adaptability, and the ability to complete projects.
• Availability for a full-time, 40-hour-per-week internship for at least 12 weeks.
• Ability to work in the Austin office 3–5 days per week.
• Ability to avoid class commitments that conflict with the full-time schedule.
