Intl Trade Services Spec Sr

Location: Hybrid role based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with two weeks reporting to the office and two weeks working remotely. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM EST.

What you will do

• Evaluate, execute, approve, and process complex international trade services transactions.
• Apply trade-specific procedures, rules, guidelines, and regulations to varying-risk transactions.
• Administer trade compliance controls, identify exceptions, and escalate issues to mitigate bank risk.
• Perform secondary reviews of transactions and related documents for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance.
• Consult with internal and external stakeholders, support client onboarding, and respond to trade-product inquiries.
• Serve as a subject matter advisor and support projects, training, and coaching for new hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree; comparable education, certifications, and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Typically less than one year of professional experience or successful completion of a formal development program.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, decision-making, critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to interpret, draft, structure, and review complex legal and customer-related documents.
• Knowledge of risk mitigation, operational procedures, compliance requirements, and international trade transactions.
• Must work in the Pittsburgh-based hybrid arrangement and be available during EST business hours. hirify.global does not provide employment visa sponsorship or participate in STEM OPT for this position.

Nice to have

• Experience with the Standby Letter of Credit process.
• Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) certification from BAFT.
