Admissions/Outreach and Career Transition Director

What you will do

• Lead strategic planning and daily operations for student outreach, admissions, enrollment, retention, placement, and post-program support.
• Build relationships with schools, community organizations, agencies, American Job Centers, workforce boards, employers, funders, and other partners.
• Oversee outreach campaigns, orientations, interviews, enrollment assessments, documentation, onboarding, travel, and center placement.
• Direct graduate career transition efforts into employment, military pathways, further education, or advanced training.
• Coach and hold accountable staff responsible for recruitment, enrollment, placement, and graduate services.
• Monitor performance metrics, quality assurance, reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement against program and contract goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, marketing, or a related field, plus 3–5 or more years of relevant experience; alternatively, an associate degree with four or more years of increasingly responsible experience.
• Experience in admissions, outreach, counseling, youth services, workforce development, career services, recruitment, or enrollment management.
• Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, program development, project management, community partnerships, and event coordination.
• Proficiency in data analysis, enrollment management systems or CRM platforms, digital communication tools, and marketing platforms.
• Strong communication, presentation, public speaking, organization, collaboration, and customer-support skills, with experience serving diverse youth populations.
• Valid state driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; prior leadership or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
