Location: St Paul Park, Minnesota, United States; onsite refinery role with rotational on-call responsibilities, including weekends and holidays.

Salary: $80,800–$139,500 per year

What you will do

• Provide technical safety support for refinery operations, projects, turnarounds, construction, and emergency response.
• Serve as the primary safety resource for assigned operations areas and partner with employees, supervisors, and contractors.
• Assess hazards, develop mitigation plans, and support safety programs, procedures, work plans, and Management of Change activities.
• Conduct field and program audits, review work permits, LOTO, and work-control processes, and drive improvements.
• Lead or support near-miss, incident, and injury investigations and track corrective actions to completion.
• Develop and deliver safety training and support refinery emergency response within the Incident Command structure.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with at least two years of relevant experience, or a bachelor's degree in a health, environment, or safety-related field.
• Working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements and OSHA standards.
• Ability to identify safety hazards, solve problems independently, and manage workplace conflict.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn additional software such as Power BI, Survey Gizmo, and Microsoft Forms.
• Valid driver's license and TWIC license required upon hire.
