Aircraft Inspector V (Deploy Only)

Location: Shalimar, Florida, United States; requires deployment for a minimum of 90 days to an OCONUS operating location. Work 6 days per week, Monday through Saturday, for 12-hour first-shift days.

What you will do

• Provide expert oversight for aircraft inspection activities and complex compliance issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for inspection processes.
• Ensure complete and accurate inspection documentation.
• Develop and maintain advanced inspection protocols.
• Mentor and train inspectors at all levels.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a higher relevant degree may substitute for experience.
• At least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Active FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification and Inspection Authorization designation required.
• Mandatory PC-12 experience.
• Advanced knowledge of aircraft systems, equipment, parts, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection processes.
• Must meet current DoD and Combatant Command requirements for deployed locations, pass a pre-deployment medical assessment, and be eligible under U.S. government international trade regulations.

Nice to have

• Prior lead experience with the ability to mentor and guide subordinates.
• Knowledge of 14 CFR Chapter 1 and civil or government aviation inspection operations.
• Experience with first article inspections, aircraft modifications, or FAA conformity inspection designee responsibilities.
• Background in aerospace and defense, the U.S. Department of Defense, or the U.S. military.
