Senior Partnerships Consultant (Agrifood Innovation)

Location: Geneva, Switzerland. The role includes recurring national travel and occasional international field missions.

What you will do

• Lead the Swiss Global Innovation Scaling Partnership between hirify.global and the Swiss Food and Nutrition Valley, dedicating approximately 80% of the role to the partnership.
• Facilitate collaboration among hirify.global units, SFNV management and members, Swiss authorities, research institutions, academia, private-sector partners, and development actors.
• Support needs identification, matchmaking, fundraising, co-creation, solution development, deployment, scaling, and knowledge management.
• Manage the partnership portfolio, coordinate project activities, monitor timelines and budgets, and support timely delivery of results.
• Develop and apply monitoring, learning, and evaluation frameworks to improve and replicate the partnership model across low- and middle-income countries.
• Strengthen hirify.global’s linkages with the Swiss agrifood innovation ecosystem and promote Swiss capabilities internationally.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in agriculture, food systems, economics, public administration, international relations, political science, business administration, innovation management, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree may be accepted with two additional years of relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in project design and management, partnership development, innovation ecosystems, private-sector engagement, resource mobilization, or international development cooperation.
• Working knowledge of English and limited knowledge of at least one other hirify.global official language are required.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects and multi-stakeholder partnerships involving public, private, and development-sector actors.
• Ability to coordinate with governments, international organizations, research institutions, academia, foundations, funding institutions, and private-sector partners.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-engagement, and relationship-building skills, with deep knowledge of the Swiss agrifood ecosystem.

Nice to have

• Experience in agrifood innovation, innovation scaling, public-private partnerships, or multi-stakeholder platforms.
• Experience working with hirify.global, the United Nations system, or international development organizations.
• Additional knowledge of an hirify.global official language.
