Data Analyst II

Location: Remote, associated with Portland, Oregon, USA.

Salary: $52,999–$85,473 per year, depending on location, skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

What you will do

• Analyze and interpret data to support strategic and tactical business decisions.
• Develop data collection systems and strategies that improve statistical efficiency and data quality.
• Apply statistical techniques to analyze results and identify trends or patterns in complex datasets.
• Manage and deliver end-to-end analytics projects.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data context and business value.
• Create reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools to help management address complex problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field.
• 2–5 years of experience in data analysis.
• Knowledge of mathematics, statistics, data analysis, and standard business intelligence tools such as Excel, SPSS, SAS, Tableau, or Chartio.
• Familiarity with reporting packages, SQL Server, SSIS, and programming or ETL frameworks, including SML or JavaScript.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

• Exposure to data models, database design and development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
