Energy Efficiency Data Analytics Advisor

Location: Irwindale, California, US; hybrid work with required attendance at an SCE facility. Employees are generally required to work and reside in California.

Salary: $129,200–$193,700 annually

What you will do

• Collect, clean, preprocess, and validate data from databases, spreadsheets, APIs, and data warehouses.
• Apply statistical, analytical, predictive modeling, data mining, machine learning, and AI-enabled techniques to identify trends and relationships.
• Build dashboards, visualizations, reports, and executive-level summaries that communicate actionable insights to non-technical audiences.
• Monitor data quality and program performance while improving analytics methodologies and processes.
• Partner with data scientists, business analysts, program managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to align analysis with business needs.
• Protect physical, financial, cybersecurity, customer, medical, proprietary, and other sensitive company data.

Requirements

• Seven or more years of data analysis experience.
• Experience using a variety of data tools and software.
• Ability to work in a hybrid mode and generally reside in California.
• Ability to support emergency response and business continuity efforts, including an on-call IMT rotation approximately every four to six weeks.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with SQL, Python, SAS, or similar programming tools.
• Experience with predictive models, statistical analyses, machine learning applications, and AI-enabled solutions such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot agents.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of Energy Efficiency, Building Electrification, income-qualified programs, or CPUC regulatory reporting.
• Experience managing multiple analytical projects and influencing outcomes through data-driven insights.
