Estimator / Detailer (MiTek/Pryda)

Location: Remote from Manila, Philippines; working hours and holidays follow New Zealand schedules.

Salary: PHP 60,000–70,000 per month.

What you will do

• Analyze architectural drawings and structural plans to prepare accurate timber and hardware quantity take-offs.
• Calculate material quantities and prepare preliminary cost estimates and component schedules.
• Use estimating tools and develop working knowledge of MiTek and Pryda software.
• Progress into preparing production and layout drawings for timber frames and trusses.
• Manage estimating and detailing workloads to meet project deadlines.
• Maintain digital records, software data, and administrative or safety documentation while coordinating with internal production teams.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in architecture, draughting, building construction, quantity surveying, or equivalent practical industry experience.
• Experience performing plan take-offs and estimating timber components and framing requirements.
• Strong ability to read architectural plans and foundational experience with MiTek, Pryda, or similar structural software.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
• Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail, organization, reliability, and independent problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• 2+ years of experience in timber framing, roof trusses, or pre-cut manufacturing.
