Senior Mechanical Estimator

What you will do

• Develop estimate plans and coordinate estimate development with project teams.
• Lead the development of total project estimates.
• Prepare the Project Basis of Estimate and Estimate Risk Analysis.
• Recommend cost contingencies to project teams.
• Analyze complex problems and recommend solutions aligned with project objectives and organizational guidelines.
• Maintain a library of current local rates for use in estimates.

Requirements

• More than 10 years of progressively responsible estimating experience in a construction environment.
• Experience with estimating systems such as Sage Timberline, InEight, or CostX.
• A degree or comparable experience in a construction-related discipline.
• RICS, CEP, or CPE chartered status, or active progress toward completing one of these qualifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a detail-oriented and quality-focused approach.
