Industrial Mechanic

Location: 220 Rue de Rotterdam, Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures, Quebec, Canada. Onsite permanent full-time position on the evening shift, Monday through Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignment, and servicing of conveyors, crushers, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, presses, and other industrial equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and equipment failures.
• Inspect parts for wear and repair or replace defective components and systems.
• Test repaired equipment and verify proper performance and compliance with standards.
• Install and upgrade new machinery, complete work orders, and follow up on required repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace and follow occupational health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Strong experience maintaining, repairing, and adjusting mechanical equipment.
• Ability to diagnose failures and repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
• Experience testing equipment after repair or replacement to verify performance.
• Ability to collaborate on troubleshooting and equipment-efficiency improvements.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and occupational health and safety regulations.
