Breaker Assembler

Location: Milton, Ontario, Canada. On-site Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Assemble, inspect, repair, and retrofit circuit breakers and switchgear from leading OEMs.
• Perform soldering, welding, wiring, and mechanical and electrical sub-assembly work.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly instructions.
• Test, troubleshoot, and diagnose electrical and mechanical equipment using specialized tools.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and retrofit projects.
• Complete service documentation and collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve reliability.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience in circuit breaker or switchgear assembly, maintenance, testing, repair, or manufacturing.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Technical training or certification in electrical assembly, electrical technology, electromechanics, or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and service manuals.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to follow health, safety, and environmental procedures, including LOTO requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience with circuit breaker testing and diagnostic equipment.
