Senior Finance Business Partner

Location: Toronto, ON, Canada; flexible hybrid work arrangement with possible in-person onboarding or identity verification.

Salary: CAD 116,000–169,400 annually base salary, with potential bonuses, stock grants, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial close, and performance reporting for the Data Management and Platform organizations.
• Own finance spend consolidation and communicate the division’s spending story.
• Advise senior leaders on investments, resource allocation, product tiering, pricing, business models, and M&A decisions.
• Build financial models, conduct ad-hoc analyses, and evaluate the financial impact and ROI of investments.
• Represent finance in technology rollouts, testing, change management, and reporting improvements.
• Partner with cross-functional and matrixed teams to improve processes and support strategic decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or an equivalent field.
• 8+ years of finance and business partnering experience.
• Experience operating at both strategic and day-to-day levels and influencing decisions across organizational levels.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, quantitative analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with dashboards, financial modeling, automation tools, and platforms such as Anaplan, Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, QlikView, SAP, or Snowflake.
