Factory Test Technical Specialist II (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Design, build, and operate pressurized cryogenic, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems for rocket testing.
• Develop and manage data control systems for real-time monitoring and analysis.
• Advise engineers on testing best practices, system capabilities, and operational limitations.
• Identify and mitigate hazards associated with hazardous equipment and testing activities.
• Create, maintain, and refine test plans and procedures.
• Troubleshoot reliability issues and improve hardware performance and test efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Experience working with pressurized flight components, hazardous equipment with multiple energy sources, and complex fluid-mechanical systems.
• Proficiency with basic office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Slack.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or trade certification in a relevant discipline, such as aviation or automotive mechanics.
• Experience with test automation, data acquisition, and control systems.
• Knowledge of rocket engine and fluid-system components, including pumps, valves, regulators, check valves, actuators, and related electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
