IT Application Engineer Intern, Investments - Summer 2027

Salary: $27.00–$30.00 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and maintaining software applications and data solutions.
• Support development using Python, R, Java, SQL, or similar technologies.
• Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with application engineers, analysts, architects, and business partners.
• Analyze and troubleshoot application, data, and system issues.
• Test applications, APIs, integrations, and data workflows.
• Support data ingestion, transformation, validation, reporting, pipelines, integrations, automation, and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Current junior pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Exposure to Python, Java, R, SQL, or similar technologies, with foundational knowledge of software development and database design.
• Strong academic performance; a GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.
