Software Developer Intern (AI)

Location: Onsite in Kansas City, Missouri, United States. The role requires office attendance on a scheduled frequency and follows an 8 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday–Friday schedule.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain software applications using Python, Java, and JavaScript.
• Work with SQL databases and APIs to design, implement, and optimize queries.
• Assist with the deployment and management of cloud-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams supporting investment management, sales, client service, and corporate functions.
• Explore how AI can improve the software development lifecycle and create business value.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to development process improvements.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Expected graduation between December 2027 and Spring 2028.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Java.
• Familiarity with SQL and cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, now or in the future.
