Windows Server Administrator (NinjaOne)

What you will do

• Own enterprise server patching, maintenance windows, compliance reporting, and exception escalation using NinjaOne RMM.
• Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, DFS, file services, and print services.
• Build and manage VMware vSphere virtual machines, templates, snapshots, migrations, and resource allocation.
• Plan server operating system upgrades, hardware refreshes, workload migrations, provisioning, and decommissioning.
• Develop PowerShell and NinjaOne automation for patching, health checks, provisioning, compliance reporting, and alerting.
• Respond to server incidents, including P1/P2 outages, perform root cause analysis, maintain runbooks, and document changes and assets.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of hands-on server administration or IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with NinjaOne RMM, including patch deployment, monitoring, alert management, remote access, and automation scripting.
• Strong Windows Server administration experience across versions 2016, 2019, 2022, and 2025.
• Hands-on VMware vSphere experience, including templates, snapshots, cloning, and resource allocation.
• Strong PowerShell scripting skills and experience with server upgrades, backup and recovery, endpoint security, and troubleshooting.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, configuration management, CI/CD, or other DevOps practices applied to infrastructure operations.
• Experience with colocation or data center environments, remote hands coordination, and out-of-band management.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, AD Connect, hybrid identity, ServiceNow, or equivalent ITSM platforms.
• Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or complex global enterprise IT environments.
• Relevant Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA, NinjaOne, or ITIL certifications.
