Provider Relations Manager

Location: Remote within the United States, with hiring focused on the California area. Up to 10% travel required.

Salary: $66,600–$111,000 annually, depending on experience and geographic location. Annual bonus plan eligibility is anticipated.

What you will do

• Manage the end-to-end provider experience and service delivery for an assigned medium- to low-complexity book of business.
• Develop provider strategic action plans and drive resolution of service issues, risks, and opportunities.
• Collect, analyze, interpret, and distribute provider reports, dashboards, informatics, and market intelligence.
• Review performance data with providers, track performance guarantees, and improve Provider Index scores.
• Educate providers on business objectives, policies, programs, and operating procedures.
• Lead provider presentations, joint operating committees, and external engagement with medical societies and provider associations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher strongly preferred, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of provider relations experience preferred, with successful account management experience.
• Understanding of medical insurance products and provider issues; claims administration experience preferred.
• Strong oral, written, interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and use Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Home internet must use cable broadband or fiber optic service with at least 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload speeds.
