Operations Manager (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada — on-site

Salary: CA$90,000–CA$115,000 per year

What you will do

• Oversee tactical assembly production at the Vancouver facility.
• Ensure production is safe, efficient, timely, and compliant with quality requirements.
• Review demand, capacity, and staffing levels and implement production schedules and solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement in labor, cycle times, utilization, scrap, maintenance costs, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Support new product development and coordinate production improvements.
• Lead, coach, guide, and mentor production supervisors and employees.

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Operations, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of management experience with technical and non-technical reports.
• Experience with Lean philosophy, methods, systems, tools, and implementation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
