Kohler Co-op - User Experience Design

Location: Onsite in hirify.global, Wisconsin, United States. Co-op term: May 2027 through December 2027.

What you will do

• Support senior Human Factors researchers and Industrial Designers in developing new products and enhancing existing products.
• Assist with user research for products, mock-ups, and prototypes, and participate in design critiques.
• Conduct and analyze secondary research, including trend reports, product reviews, and competitive benchmarking.
• Create user interaction designs for products and services that support meaningful customer experiences.
• Contribute to interaction design, build UX/UI prototypes, and write behavior specifications for product and app interfaces.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a graduate-level program in User Experience Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, or a related discipline.
• Proficiency with digital design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Strong understanding of Android and iOS platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for sharing research insights, design recommendations, and user experience concepts.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Relevant experience in design research, user experience, interaction design, or a related field.
