UX Designer, ServiceNow (Part-time, On Call)

Location: Remote within the United States; candidates must reside in the US, be authorized to work in the US, and perform all work in the US. Occasional travel to an hirify.global office or client meeting may be required. Core collaboration hours are 10:00am–4:00pm Eastern Time.

Salary: $81,499–$138,549 annually based on full-time employment; part-time hours vary from 0–30 per week.

What you will do

• Design and support user-centered workflows, forms, portals, and interfaces in ServiceNow.
• Translate requirements into effective ServiceNow experiences with product owners, developers, UX researchers, and delivery teams.
• Create and iterate wireframes, user flows, and interaction designs aligned with ServiceNow capabilities.
• Apply UX best practices while balancing platform constraints and delivery timelines.
• Partner with technical teams to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Participate in client and internal design reviews while supporting multiple short-term consulting efforts.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of UX design experience, including hands-on experience designing and building ServiceNow solutions.
• At least 3 years of experience working with enterprise platforms or design systems.
• Must reside and work in the United States, be authorized to work in the US, and hold US citizenship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal public trust clearance.
• Strong problem-solving, systems-thinking, communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a part-time, on-call, project-based model.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in consulting, government, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
• Proficiency with Figma, Jira, and Confluence.
