Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management, Provider Operations

Location: Fully remote, open only to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. The role may potentially transition to a hybrid presence at the hub office associated with the candidate's metro area.

Salary: $122,212–$160,404 per year, plus annual performance bonuses and employee benefits.

What you will do

• Own the strategy and performance of Oscar Medical Group's revenue cycle function, including professional billing, coding, claims, denials, eligibility, and documentation workflows.
• Serve as the senior subject matter expert for CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, CCI/NCCI edits, claims management, and payer requirements.
• Establish KPIs, controls, reporting, and root-cause analysis practices to improve clean claims, coding accuracy, reimbursement, denial rates, and financial performance.
• Lead coding and clinical documentation integrity initiatives, including provider queries, pre- and post-bill reviews, documentation corrections, and provider education.
• Develop denial prevention and resolution strategies and address payer-specific reimbursement, eligibility, claim-edit, and coding issues.
• Partner with clinical, operations, finance, compliance, credentialing, product, and technology stakeholders to build scalable policies, workflows, governance, and vendor oversight.

Requirements

• 7+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle, professional billing, coding, or related healthcare operations.
• 3+ years leading revenue cycle programs, teams, or functions with operational or financial accountability.
• Advanced knowledge of professional billing and coding, including CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, modifiers, CCI/NCCI edits, claims, denials, and payer requirements.
• Experience developing revenue cycle strategies, analyzing complex data and root causes, and improving coding accuracy, claims performance, reimbursement, and financial outcomes.
• Experience with clinical documentation integrity, provider documentation review, provider queries, and pre- and post-bill review processes.
• Strong executive communication and cross-functional leadership skills, including collaboration with clinical, finance, compliance, credentialing, and operational stakeholders.

Nice to have

• CPC, CCS, CCS-P, CPMA, or comparable coding or revenue cycle certification.
• Experience leading coding professionals or certified coders.
• Experience in a multi-state medical group, telehealth organization, or complex healthcare delivery environment.
• Experience working in both provider and payer environments, with risk-adjustment coding, credentialing, payer enrollment, or external revenue cycle vendor management.
