Claims Manager (AI)

Location: Remote for candidates based in the United States

Salary: $130,000–$160,000/year, plus potential variable compensation, equity, and benefits

What you will do

• Own commercial claims end to end, including intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, reserves, and resolution discussions.
• Lead claims kickoff calls for new clients and monthly claims reviews for existing accounts.
• Build standard operating procedures, reporting workflows, and employee-facing training materials.
• Serve as the primary client contact during urgent claims, including incidents such as slip-and-falls and product recalls.
• Drive carriers, third-party administrators, and defense counsel toward timely resolution.
• Provide loss analysis, claims history, and renewal insights to the growth team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing commercial insurance claims, preferably in a brokerage or carrier environment.
• End-to-end experience with claims intake, carrier reporting, adjuster follow-up, reserves, and resolution.
• Sound judgment, strong communication, organization, and client relationship skills.
• Experience leading client-facing kickoff meetings and claims reviews.
• Ability to create SOPs, reporting workflows, and training materials from scratch.
• Persistence in coordinating carriers, TPAs, and defense counsel, including during high-stress claims.
