What you will do

• Provide operational engineering support to the Resident Engineer with a one-year planning horizon.
• Manage the safe movement of people, ore, materials, equipment, and machinery across the operational area.
• Apply the Asset Management Framework, technical standards, and critical controls.
• Develop section budgets and long-term Asset Management Plans covering maintenance requirements over one to five years.
• Manage shutdowns, component replacements, rebuilds, projects, construction, commissioning, repairs, and maintenance.
• Monitor asset performance, legal compliance, infrastructure sustainability, engineering metrics, and improvement strategies.

Requirements

• Engineering-related degree or diploma, such as BSc Engineering.
• Government Certificate of Competency.
• Five years of post-engineering qualification experience.
• Three years in an appointed position relevant to the role is advantageous.
• Basic computer literacy and experience in an underground mechanized mining environment are advantageous.
• On-site work at Mototolo Mine, South Africa.
