AI Consultant

Location: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week in an office in Allen, Texas; Birmingham, Alabama; Cedar Falls, Iowa; Charlotte, North Carolina; Overland Park, Kansas; Louisville, Kentucky; Monett, Missouri; or Springfield, Missouri. Travel up to 25% is required.

What you will do

• Lead strategic business process discovery across functions such as Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and Operations.
• Facilitate value stream mapping sessions to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for AI intervention.
• Design and lead workshops with cross-functional teams to define challenges, develop AI solutions, and build consensus.
• Evaluate the feasibility, business impact, and ROI of proposed generative AI solutions.
• Develop recommendations and support implementation, adoption, change management, and internal AI knowledge sharing.
• Monitor advances in generative AI and business process improvement methodologies.

Requirements

• At least 9 years of combined experience in consulting, business transformation, or technology advisory roles.
• Experience in technology and financial services.
• Experience leading customer-facing workshops, consulting engagements, and strategic advisory initiatives.
• Experience presenting to senior leaders, executive stakeholders, and boards.
• Experience building generative AI solutions for diverse business partners.
• Must be able to work in the listed U.S. office locations, attend the office at least one day per week, and travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with the NIST AI Risk Management Framework or AI regulatory standards for financial institutions.
• Knowledge of core banking platforms, financial institution technology stacks, and operational workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, or enterprise LLM frameworks.
• Understanding of AI agents and experience partnering with account executives.
