Senior Strategic Finance Associate, G&A (SaaS)

Location: Hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, US

Salary: $160,500–$217,500 USD annual total target cash compensation, including base and variable compensation.

What you will do

• Own the end-to-end financial planning process for G&A teams and establish quality standards and accountability mechanisms.
• Define 6–12 month financial strategies, validate assumptions with business partners, and translate strategy into financial outcomes and leading indicators.
• Build investment business cases with quantified risks, assumptions, and second-order effects for leadership decision-making.
• Design and improve planning processes, tooling, data definitions, and financial outputs across the organization.
• Lead cross-functional analyses, resolve forecast disagreements, and communicate clear financial narratives to different audiences.
• Partner with budget owners to improve data quality, metric consistency, and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of FP&A or Strategic Finance experience, focused on G&A in a high-growth SaaS environment.
• Experience owning a planning domain end-to-end and designing planning processes and frameworks.
• Expert financial modeling skills, including SaaS unit economics, driver-based forecasting, three-statement modeling, and scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with BI tools, FP&A platforms, and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis to executive audiences.
• BS or BA in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; must be located in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City.

Nice to have

• Experience with Pigment, Anaplan, or a similar planning tool, ideally Pigment.
• MBA or CFA.
