Senior Associate, FP&A (Marketplace)

What you will do

• Maintain the operating model with the VP Finance, including revenue, GMV, headcount, OpEx, annual planning, and quarterly reforecasts.
• Model marketplace levers such as recruiter incentives, retainers, pricing, take rates, and fee structures.
• Own unit economics analysis across GMV, net revenue, recruiter payouts, cohort behavior, LTV:CAC, and payback.
• Run monthly budget-versus-actuals reviews and department-level variance analysis with the accounting team.
• Define metrics and build dashboards with RevOps and BizOps for weekly leadership reporting.
• Automate recurring finance reporting with AI.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, or top-tier consulting.
• At least 1–2 years of building financial models used by operating teams.
• Expertise in spreadsheet modeling, including three-statement models, driver-based forecasts, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to present financial analysis to executives and turn ambiguous questions into clear answers.
• Experience with marketplace businesses, incentive programs, pricing or take-rate models, and monthly budget-versus-actuals reviews.
• Experience working with raw transaction data through SQL or data exports.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech or usage-based businesses.
• Experience with a Series B–C fundraise, including modeling, data rooms, and diligence questions.
• Hands-on experience with Pigment, Anaplan, SQL, Metabase, or Looker.
