Lead Enterprise Application Solutions Analyst (SAP)

Location: Hybrid role based in offices in Durham, NC or Silver Spring, MD; reporting to the office at least three days per week. In-office requirements may increase based on business needs.

Salary: $135,000–$190,000 per year.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions for enterprise finance and operational processes.
• Provide functional leadership across Record to Report, Source to Pay, and Order to Cash processes.
• Optimize workflows and SAP functionality to improve efficiency, transparency, and data reliability.
• Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Procurement stakeholders while managing project timelines, deliverables, and expectations.
• Lead requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing coordination, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Support software upgrades and maintain financial master data integrity and compliant system operations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting and maintaining a live SAP environment with a bachelor's degree, or 6+ years with a master's degree.
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience in cash management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Experience with at least two SAP FI/CO areas, such as general ledger, project systems, asset accounting, cost center accounting, margin analysis, or product cost controlling.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA cash management, treasury, and risk management, plus experience with enterprise structure design and finance master data management.
• Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud, Concur, TrinTech or other account reconciliation software, ServiceNow, and GL Wand.
• Ability to convert business needs into technical requirements and robust solutions, with strong communication, documentation, and time management skills.

Nice to have

• SAP certification and experience with Fit-Gap workshops, configuration, testing, documentation, and training.
• Familiarity with US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in accounting or business process solutions consulting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.
• SAP experience in life sciences and validated systems.
