Finance SAP Transformation Leader (SAP S/4HANA)

Location: Hybrid role based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $150,000–$258,750 base pay per year

What you will do

• Define and execute the Finance SAP S/4HANA target-state roadmap across global deployments and releases.
• Lead end-to-end finance process design and simplification across Invoice-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report, Treasury, Tax, payments, close, and reconciliations.
• Drive automation using SAP-native capabilities, SAP BTP, SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Copilot, intelligent automation, and approved AI tools.
• Own delivery planning, testing, cutover readiness, risk mitigation, governance, vendor performance, and value realization.
• Guide finance architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, cybersecurity, resilience, and long-term platform supportability.
• Lead, coach, and develop functional, technical, product, architecture, and delivery professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; an advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
• 15+ years of experience in global technology, finance process transformation, ERP transformation, or enterprise application leadership.
• 10+ years of deep SAP S/4HANA Finance experience, including large-scale implementation, deployment, integration, or platform leadership.
• Experience with SAP S/4 Finance transformation programs, Central Finance, global template deployments, and integrations with source ERPs or boundary systems.
• 10+ years of people leadership experience in a matrixed global environment.
• Strong knowledge of finance controls, SOX, cybersecurity, data privacy, audit readiness, SDLC, and IT governance.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Integration Suite, SAP Datasphere, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Business Data Cloud, BW/4HANA, cloud platforms, APIs, and middleware.
• RISE migration experience and knowledge of AI, GenAI, intelligent automation, agentic workflows, or machine learning in finance.
