Data Scientist I (NLP/Machine Learning): Developing analytical models, algorithms, dashboards, and reporting solutions for U.S. Navy electromagnetic warfare and lifecycle-support systems with an accent on data mining, statistical analysis, reliability, maintainability, and operational readiness. Focus on integrating logistics, engineering, maintenance, and operational data, identifying trends and anomalies, and delivering data-driven recommendations for complex defense systems.
Location: Remote; support for U.S. Navy and federal government programs

What you will do
- Develop analytical techniques and applications that convert raw data into actionable information for operational and program decisions.
- Apply data mining, statistical analysis, natural language processing, machine learning, and data modeling to structured and unstructured datasets.
- Build data models and algorithms that identify trends, relationships, anomalies, risks, and performance indicators.
- Create data visualizations, dashboards, dynamic reports, technical analyses, and briefings for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Integrate logistics, engineering, maintenance, reliability, and operational data to support lifecycle management, sustainment, readiness, and system performance.
- Collaborate with logisticians, engineers, operations research analysts, and program personnel to develop repeatable analytical processes and solutions.
Requirements
- Secret security clearance required.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Experience with data-oriented programming languages and analytical tools.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and communicate findings through reports, visualizations, and briefings.
