Financial Arabic Translator

Location: London, UK. This is an in-office role; eligibility for a hybrid work-from-home program may be available based on role, tenure, and performance.

What you will do

• Provide translation services to internal clients across Sales, Service, Research, Content, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, and other groups.
• Translate, edit, proofread, and localize financial, marketing, legal, educational, and capital-markets content into Modern Standard Arabic.
• Act as the primary contact for translation requests and ensure content follows tone and language style guides.
• Coordinate with translation vendors, provide production feedback, and manage quality and proofreading.
• Complete translation projects and ad-hoc assignments independently and on schedule.

Requirements

• BA/BS in Translation, Linguistics, Arabic language, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in Arabic and the ability to produce written content in Modern Standard Arabic are essential.
• At least 3 years of financial translation experience.
• Strong knowledge of finance, investment, Arabic culture, and the target language.
• Fluency in English is essential.
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all seniority levels.

Nice to have

• Experience with CAT tools.
• Fluency in another European or Asian language, including Danish, Dutch, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Cantonese, Norwegian, Spanish, or Swedish.
