Senior Staff UX Writer, International (UX Writing/Localization): Crafting localized product language and interfaces for Airbnb's international markets with an accent on regional needs, cultural and linguistic norms, and regulatory environments. Location: Based in London, UK, or within easy commuting distance
Salary: £126,000–£158,000 annual base pay

What you will do
- Write clear, concise copy across multiple product touchpoints.
- Define and lead the UX Writing function within Global Markets, including workflows, partnerships, standards, reviews, and mentoring.
- Drive UX Writing strategy and deliverables across complex projects from concept through detailed design.
- Develop content ideas and recommendations based on product requirements, data, and research.
- Present content and design work, build stakeholder consensus, and manage copy deadlines.
- Partner with accessibility, anti-discrimination, legal, localization, country management, and central UX Writing teams to maintain inclusive, consistent product language.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in UX writing, content design, or content strategy.
- Experience leading content and copy work from concept to detailed design.
- Experience with localization platforms or translation services.
- Experience presenting to executive teams and creating content principles, messaging frameworks, and style guides.
- Strong collaboration skills, understanding of user experience design and interaction patterns, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.
- Comfort working with other design disciplines in Figma.
Nice to have
- Background in global consumer technology companies or marketplaces.
- Bilingual ability in German, Spanish, French, or Italian.
