TL;DR
Daata & AI Systems Manager (Data/AI): Building and governing Pursuit’s data infrastructure, CRM integrations, internal tools, reporting, and agentic capabilities with an accent on data quality, self-service analytics, and AI-native governance. Focus on designing scalable systems, connecting SaaS platforms, and enabling AI agents and cross-functional teams to use reliable organizational data.
Location: Hybrid — on site Tuesday through Thursday in Long Island City; work from anywhere on Monday and Friday
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 base per year, plus bonus and benefits

What you will do
- Own the data infrastructure, including the semantic layer, data dictionary, internal tools, and outcomes data.
- Build reporting, dashboards, and agentic capabilities that turn data into decisions.
- Improve data availability, accuracy, completeness, and structure so teams can self-serve metrics.
- Design data structures such as fields, statuses, and pipelines with program, fundraising, and operations teams.
- Define data governance standards, permissions, and structures for reliable AI-agent access.
- Integrate SaaS vendors and internal tools while administering access, permissions, and workflows.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in analytics, data operations, business intelligence, or a related data field.
- Strong technical foundations in SQL, spreadsheets/Excel, and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Hands-on interest in AI tools, custom Skills, coding agents such as Claude Code, and GitHub.
- Experience owning data completeness and accuracy at scale.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and translating non-technical stakeholder needs into systems.
- Clear communication with leadership, strong attention to detail, and a builder’s mindset.
