Cloud Analyst

Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada; hybrid work with flexibility to work from the office and virtually based on business and client needs

Salary: CAD 54,000–89,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the design, implementation, operation, and enhancement of cloud infrastructure and platform services.
• Develop automation scripts and tools for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and self-service cloud capabilities.
• Collaborate with Cloud Centre of Excellence squads, internal consumers, support teams, engineering teams, security, and governance stakeholders.
• Modernize legacy workloads and operational processes using cloud platforms and container-based services.
• Support proofs of concept, technical evaluations, cloud adoption initiatives, incident resolution, and operational stability.
• Maintain cloud documentation and contribute to security engineering, audit, risk, compliance, and 24x7 operational support.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Science, or a related technology field.
• Relevant experience in enterprise server administration or cloud solution administration.
• Knowledge of DevOps environments, automation, software engineering, scripting, SDLC practices, or infrastructure as code.
• Foundational understanding of at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Exposure to Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Backstage, or other cloud-native technologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement based in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and complete applicable background checks.

Nice to have

• AWS, Azure, GCP, or Linux Foundation certification.
• Exposure to AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and EKS.
• Understanding of container orchestration, Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, self-service platforms, and standardized cloud consumption models.
• Programming or scripting experience with Python, React/TypeScript, Node.js, or Bash.
• Experience with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and AWS Bedrock with Anthropic models.
