Area Owner / Site Superintendent (MEP Construction)

What you will do

• Own a defined area or system scope for mechanical, electrical, and MEP installation.
• Lead daily construction activities, area coordination meetings, huddles, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Oversee process piping, clean utilities, HVAC, and electrical installation during the Construction Management phase.
• Coordinate subcontractors, workface readiness, short-term planning, construction sequencing, and constraint removal.
• Coordinate inspections, walkdowns, snagging, punch-list closure, and turnover activities.
• Lead planning for the 2026 and 2027 shutdowns and work with scheduling and package managers to execute robust plans.

Requirements

• Degree qualification or an exceptionally strong trades background.
• At least 15 years of construction and/or mechanical experience, including at least 10 years of site experience.
• Experience in life science, mission-critical, or similarly complex projects.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Good knowledge of English is required; Dutch is advantageous.
• Previous hirify.global experience is desirable.
