Software Engineer (AI)

Location: New York City; on-site

Salary: $200,000–$400,000 annual base salary plus equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and continuously improve AI agents for complex customer interactions and retention.
• Own agent development and delivery from initial implementation through production iteration.
• Identify trends across customers to guide the evolution of the agent-building platform and research efforts.
• Experiment with and evaluate text and voice models, integrating them at scale for enterprise customers.
• Diagnose system failures across deep technology stacks and develop scalable solutions for millions of users.

Requirements

• 8+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency with Python and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
• Comfort investigating complex system failures using any necessary tools.
• Ability to work on-site in New York City.
