Senior Social Media Manager (Fintech)

Location: New York City; hybrid

What you will do

• Own hirify.global's social media presence end to end, beginning with LinkedIn and X.
• Develop the social voice, content strategy, publishing cadence, and execution plan for B2B and brand audiences.
• Build social listening and monitoring infrastructure to identify insights, trends, risks, and content opportunities.
• Create a playbook for consumer complaints and social voice management in partnership with member operations and legal.
• Define social metrics and measurement frameworks, translating performance data into clear narratives for leadership.
• Partner with Communications, Brand, Product Marketing, the Founder, operations, and legal on positioning, campaigns, and major moments.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of social media experience, including building or significantly scaling a brand's social presence.
• Exceptional writing skills across formats, tones, and audiences.
• Strong editorial judgment, risk assessment, and real-time decision-making skills.
• Experience owning social metrics and translating performance data into actionable leadership narratives.
• Ability to independently develop and execute strategy from ideation through delivery.
• Familiarity with Sprout Social or an equivalent social listening and management platform; experience in B2B, communications, PR, crisis management, or consumer-focused environments.

Nice to have

• Experience with regulatory, crisis, or consumer complaint communications in fintech, payments, marketplaces, or similarly complex environments.
• Experience developing crisis communications playbooks with legal and operations stakeholders.
