Social Media Marketing Manager (SaaS)

Salary: $145,000–$180,000 base salary per year

What you will do

• Own and evolve the organic social media strategy across LinkedIn, X, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
• Build editorial calendars aligned with product launches, campaigns, events, and executive communications.
• Create, write, and produce content covering thought leadership, product news, culture, and community stories.
• Manage publishing, community engagement, social listening, platform relationships, agencies, vendors, and budgets.
• Ghostwrite and support executive and employee social voices while advising senior stakeholders on platform strategy.
• Measure engagement, audience growth, impressions, pipeline impact, and brand awareness; test new formats and guide junior team members and contractors.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in social media management or social marketing, ideally in B2B SaaS or technology.
• Proven experience developing autonomous social strategies that drive engagement, community growth, and measurable business impact.
• Strong writing, storytelling, communication, content planning, publishing, and social analytics skills.
• Experience collaborating with brand, content, design, product marketing, and executive stakeholders, including advising VP-level leaders.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior employees, contractors, or agency partners.
• Ability to work in San Mateo, California, United States.
