Product Manager (AI)

Location: On-site in the New York office, United States

Cash compensation: $140,000–$220,000 per year, plus equity and equity refreshers.

What you will do

• Work directly with operational teams to understand complex workflows, bottlenecks, and failure modes.
• Translate operational problems into product, automation, and AI improvements.
• Write product specifications with requirements, acceptance criteria, edge cases, and success measures.
• Drive products from problem definition through design, engineering, and production.
• Prototype with modern AI tools and make simple product changes to accelerate learning.
• Define metrics, measure outcomes, and help establish scalable product development practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of product management experience and likely 5+ years of total professional experience.
• Strong structured thinking and the ability to turn ambiguous workflows into clear product scopes and acceptance criteria.
• Strong skills in prioritization, tradeoff analysis, requirements writing, and cross-functional execution.
• Data fluency, including defining success metrics and using evidence to guide product decisions.
• Experience with complex workflows, B2B software, internal tools, or operations-heavy environments.
• Comfort understanding technical systems and using AI to prototype, investigate, and move from ideas to usable products.

Nice to have

• Background in operations or BizOps, early-stage product management, scaled technology companies, consulting, or complex domains.
• Insurance experience is not required.
• Prior software engineering experience is not required.
