Senior Maintenance Technician (PLC)

Location: Rancho Dominguez, California, United States; onsite manufacturing and facility work

Salary: $39–$46 per hour

What you will do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment.
• Perform emergency repairs, equipment start-ups, changeovers, calibrations, and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, HVAC, and control systems.
• Lead and support maintenance projects, equipment rollouts, facility initiatives, and repair scheduling.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors while collaborating with Engineering, IT, Operations Technology, and production teams.
• Maintain accurate records, update technical drawings and charts, and enforce safety and hazardous-waste procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, certified trade qualification, or completed craft apprenticeship.
• At least 6 years of advanced mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, steam generator, building systems, or related maintenance experience.
• Leadership and management skills, with knowledge of 5S/6S and Lean Manufacturing.
• Technical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing training, and/or relevant certifications.
• Experience with PLC, CAD, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electronically controlled equipment is preferred.
• Ability to use Excel, Microsoft Word, ERP, CMMS, and BMS systems; intermediate CAD or SolidWorks proficiency.
