What you will do

• Operate jib and television cameras for broadcasts and video productions.
• Control pan, tilt, focus, and zoom to execute overheads, reveals, tracking shots, and other fluid camera movements.
• Assemble, align, and counterweight crane systems while monitoring clearance around talent, crew, and equipment.
• Compose and frame shots using appropriate lighting, lenses, filters, and camera settings according to director instructions and shot lists.
• Coordinate with directors, camera operators, and production departments in fast-paced environments.
• Test, clean, troubleshoot, and maintain cameras, electronics, hardware, software, and production equipment.

Requirements

• Three years of preferred experience operating a camera jib.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in broadcasting or communications preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
• Ability to stand for long hours, maintain arm-hand steadiness, and perform near- and far-distance visualization.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with a reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and request assistance for heavier loads.
